Fueled by grief over Adena’s death, Paedyn confronts the king in a brutal battle. Despite being wounded, she kills him with her father’s dagger, ending his tyranny.

Afterward, Kai learns of Paedyn’s role in the Resistance and the king’s murder. Their bond fractures when Paedyn discovers Kai killed her father under royal orders, leaving them torn by betrayal.

The Resistance’s attack during the Trials sparks chaos, and the king’s death marks a turning point for the kingdom. As power shifts, Kitt takes the throne, determined to lead with justice and heal a divided realm.
